Prom 2016
It was a busy week getting ready for prom & parades. David looked great with his date and it was fun getting pictures taken at the house. Camree is such a cute girl with a great personality!
I was impressed with her creative thinking when she showed up with this boutonniere for Dave. The rose was wrapped in musical ribbon and the wiring in the back is a treble clef. Since both David and Camree are in band, it was a perfect touch to a special day. Prom was a first for them both!
Lots of giggling- it made me smile. |

David and I don't often shop together and that's why I was a bit surprised when he asked me to take him shopping for new black pants and Vans to wear to the dance. We had a great time that night and I had a strong feeling that we will always be close.
Earlier in the day on Saturday, Evan marched in his first kiddie parade for Apple Blossom. He is a percussionist and was able to play the snare drum because of his skillz. I guess that music gene I passed down to my kids is super strong!

After the parade, and at the last minute, we decided to go see The Jungle Book. I yelled at the kids to quickly grab a bite to eat and Evan spoke up with an idea that I have heard about a million times this past year. He said, "How about we stop at Little Caesars and get a $5 pizza."
I finally caved and took them to buy cheap pizza and that's why I had to snap a photo of the momentous occasion.
Mom only got one slice- and she paid for it. |
Next week we have a track meet, Classy Chassis parade (car show), the Grand Parade, the Fun Run, and cousin Matthew is coming to visit. Apple Blossom is a very busy time that we always enjoy while living here.
